Perspectives Social Learning provides individual one-on-one instruction for children of school age. Individual instruction may be a better option for specific students based on their individual needs. Individual instruction may be supplemental to group instruction or it may occur independently of any other program. The goals and direction of individualized instruction are based on the needs of the child and desires of the parent. Individualized instruction may include social skills and can also include a variety of other areas such as time management, self-help, pre-vocational support, organizational support and behavioral issues. Individual instruction usually involves a “homework” or task completion component to be carried out in between sessions.
Individual instruction generally occurs in one-hour sessions meeting once per week to once per month based on the determined needs of the student. The instruction usually occurs within our office setting, but may be available within the home or other setting. To inquire about individualized instruction please email us.
